Yes, he is wrong. 

 As long as you install your OS'es in the following order, you should be
fine. First, install win95/98. Second, install NT. Third, install Linux.
After you're done with this, and assuming you install lilo in the mbr of
your hard drive, you will get a choice of OS'es upon boot: Linux or
Windows.  Choose linux, you go to linux. Choose windows, you get the NT
boot loader, that will then allow you to boot NT or 95. Voila, you have 3
OS'es on one box (even though win95/98 won't benefit from your second
processor).
