Thanks, but having browsed arch/i386/kernel/io_apic.c, I do not think
that is the problem. In any event, our system appears to be operating
fine.
I have noticed that in linux-2.2.13pre8, 0x22 was added as a
recognized value for "max redirection entries". This was not true for
2.2.13pre4 (which we are running) nor earlier 2.2.x kernels. I am
pretty sure this will make the warning message go away, at least on
our system. I will find out for certain tonight when I try it.
