I use the Asus P2B-D motherboard as well - it's very stable and reliable on
all OS's I thrown at it (Debian, WinNT, Win2k,Win 9x). However, according
to Asus,(http://www.asus.com/Products/Techref/Cpu/Coppermine/index.html) the
motherboard does not support the PIII Coppermine. Has anyone tried
Coppermine CPU's with this board? Also, is there any truth that the PIII
500E and 550E Coppermine's do not support SMP? According to Intel, SMP
support will be available on the 600E and later CPU's
-thanks, Peter
