hello all, I have a hardware related qestion for all my fellow SMPers.

Ritght now I'm in a bit of a pickle. I have 2 pentium pro 200s that I've
been running with. My PPro board died and the replacement I've been
waiting for hasn't panned out.
A little while ago I saw a posting to this list from someone who
was interested in using a dual pentium II board with a pair of socket 8
riser cards he had aquired. My questions for all of you are:
1. Is it indeed possible to get slot 1 -> socket8 converters?
2. Are their dual pentium 2 boards that will handle this setup?
3. And, if all the above is feasible, does anyone know of a board that
will do 1 and 2 AND take ECC EDO Buffered Dimms (3.3v).

The reason I just don't scrap this setup and buy a new system is that I
already have 2 cpus that are very stable and well cooled as well as 256MB
of ram for this setup. I'm a student so funds are constatnly tight. If
anyone can be of assistance, I'd be extremely happy. I'd rather go with
the dual slot 1 because it will have a newer chipset and will allow for
future upgrades.
