No option at the present time. Syntax errors are not the problem. The driver just won't load due to the unresolved external. This has no effect on LiS itself.

I realize there may be a psychological effect on customers who do not make fine distinctions between error messages.

So, I guess the answer should be that I will put in an option for building inet. Or, I may have to give up on letting inet ride along with LiS. It is easy enough to download it and install it as a stand alone package. Perhaps Brian has an idea on this.

Can we have an option in the Config script whether or not we want to compile the inet driver? The inet driver is not necessary for Streams and thus should be an option.
