John Boyd has an experimental version of LiS that works on one of the 2.6 kernels, I think it is 2.6.5.  However the changes that he made are too extensive for me to easily accept into the mainline and I don't have the time, for the next weeks, or perhaps, months, to back-fit just the 2.6 related changes.

So if John would care to publish his results you could try that one.  John, if you want me to put it on the Gcom FTP site, I will do that.

I thought that Brian had Linux Fast STREAMS all 2.6 compatible and ready to go.....
