Why open source u-boot can't work with nand ? Almost all Allwinner devices have NAND, it's good idea to use SD card for testing and recovery . But when all works fine on SD, then better move it to nand and forget . Seems strange that no clear solution for now - how use nand as boot & root. We can make partitions on NAND with nand-part, but we can't make it bootable ...
