But when all works fine on SD, then better move it to nand and forget .
Seems strange that no clear solution for now - how use nand as boot & root.
We can make partitions on NAND with nand-part, but we can't make it bootable ...

Because we don't have an opensource driver for nand. There is initial MTD working being done, so in time, it will come. Until then, you have to be patient.
