I have been reading the ML for a long time and that is not my experience.  What 
happens regularly is that people just want an answer, don't put in any effort, 
don't provide anything approaching adequate data, maybe complain when they 
don't get their selfish answer and so on.  (This is not necessarily a 
description of you.  Jury is out I think.)

Seems to me the way to improve it is to suggest concrete improvements.
