Hi,

I'd just like to add that I too would be very happy to see the analogue audio
support end up in mainline. I've been using what Emilio has published so far
for a few months now for applications such as VoIP, and it has been extremely
useful. When combined with the brilliant simplefb work done by Luc and Hans,
it allows a cheap A20 box to be used as a basic desktop computer running a
system such as Debian with an up-to-date kernel. It would be a shame if
missing support for older hardware pushed up the cost of such a system out of
reach of those on a low budget.

Thanks a lot to all who contribute here.
Best wishes,
B.R.
