Hi all, I've been playing with the audio on sun4i for some time now and have placed a branch on my github with all my changes https://github.com/codekipper/linux-sunxi/commits/kevin. Most of this is WIP but I'm pretty confident that I've covered everything with the sun4i-codec. It's just that I've not got the hardware to verify some parts. What I have verified is the following: Line In, Mic1, Mic2, and I've also tested the gains work as expected. Should I start the process of delivering the sun4i-codec changes to the ASoC mailing list without verification?
I also had a go at spdif receive but I've not been able to verify and I've also sort of lost interest in spending any more time on it. If anybody wants to take this up then feel free. I was simply looping the spdif-out pin to the spdif-in pin on my Olimex EVB. I've gone back playing with I2S and will try to verify as much as possible with the hardware I have. Sun6i and sun8i audio parts are on my todo list to test, hopefully things like spdif and i2s are easily transferable. One last thing, I'm desperate for a rootfs that I can FEL boot with that contains alsa-libs and alsa-utils. Does anybody have such an image?, it's the only way I can get my A31 board booting. I've not tried netbooting it after loading the uboot via fel, Is this possible? Thanks, CK -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "linux-sunxi" group.
