well, after the help i got on that "#define" (damn brackets), i got my
algorithm up and running,
nice and quick, about 450 filled semicircles (of random "semi" & size ) per
second on my lil 486

probably faster on a PII ;-)

anyway, if it's still needed here's the program i used to test the speed
