I'd get some software to test your RAM first, many motherboards let you
change the CPU clock rate from the BIOS config screens... but otherwise
you're on your own looking at the manual for your particular board....
If the crash happens regularly, try compiling a kernel and if that
compiles OK then it's probably not hardware... it's possible you've found
a bug in GCC but I admin it seems unlikley.
