Got my Ditto Max to work at 2000 KBits/sec without repositioning.
ft_fdc_threshold=12. With 3000 KBits/sec it does awful repositioning like
in good old Windoze-times (never mind those times anymore), which makes is
nearly as slow as with 2000kbps.
Can someone tell me some configuration-parameters which makes this drive
work at a higher speed ?
BTW.: Why is the winding speed of the tape, as reported by the /proc/...
always at 85 ips, no matter, if i selected 2000kbps or 3000 kbps?
