aloha,
what do you make of this? tape drive was working ok. its not that
old (a month or so). after a few tapes, it stopped working. physically.
formerly, as soon as i would put a tape in the drive (even before it was
working) the green light would come on and the drive would whir a bit,
winding the tape forward and back a little bit.
now, i put in a tape, nothing happens at all.
do you think the drive has become physically defective?
problem calling Iomega. there is no dos or windows on this machine. they
wont talk to linux people. they wont answer my question if this behavior
means the drive is defective, they want to "run diagonostics" under dos.
any thoughts? thanks in advance!
