I just want to make clear once again that it is 100% o.k. for me if
your libvtblc would be shipped with amanda. I just downloaded their
amanda-4.1<something> release which contains your patches. If the GPL
doesn't fit into amanda's copyright scheme, then use that little piece
of code on the basis: "Do what you want with it, but always mention
the original author in the copyright notice, but don't use his name
for advertising your products".

I'm writing this as I realize that amanda 2.4.1p1 contains your
patches, but does not contain your vtblc library.
