I run ftape-4.02 with ftape-tools-1.07. Linuxkernel.2.0.35 and a Teak 400/800
internal tape drive.

Whenever I activate ftape driver I get messages like:
        'ftape-io.c (ftape_report_operation) - No acknowledge after 300 msec. (96
iter).'

and the following:
        ' ftape-io.c (ftape_wakeup_drive) - ftape_report_raw_drive_status(ftape,
&status) failed: -5.'
What is the meaning of it?
I wouldn't bother if ftape behaved flawlessly, but it doesn't.
Should I alter it - and when, where could I?
I didn't find anything in the dokumentation.

HELP IS VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!
