I have Suse Linux 5.3.
Kernel 2.0.36
I just installed ftape-4.03-pre-2. Everything went fine.
Only thing: whenever I give a command to Ftape there shows up the
following in /var/log/messages:

Is this a kernelproblem?

What do these kernelmesages mean?
Loading of the modules with modprobe is just perfect. I get no
errors there.

I wouldn't ask if the ftape-tests didn't turn out negativ as far
as filemark-support is concerned.
I cannot append archives...
It's because of that same behaviour in the past that I finally upgraded from
kernel 2.0.35 to 2.0.36 - and from ftape-4.02 to ftape-4.03-pre-2.
My floppy-tapedrive works fine under Windows.
What con I do?
