DittoMaxPro and FlashFile technology

Anyone have any details on how this Flashfile technology is implemented?

I know it does not currently work under Linux, and I am wondering if it
would be a worthy addition to the ftape sources - I'll have a bash at it if
I can get some specs on it - unfortunately there is very little information
forthcoming from Iomega regarding it.
