Are you sure that your Ditto EZ is configured to IRQ 9?.
Check with the ISAPnP-Tools.

Switch off loading of parallelport drivers. You should modify
/etc/conf.modules similar to:

        options ftape ft_fdc_driver=ftape-internal,none,none,none ft_tracings=3,3,3,3,3
