The script 'full.backup' has errors on the following lines -
echo ".z .gz .Z .tgz .gif .arc .zip .zoo .lha .jpeg .jpg .hpk .bz2 .Z .z .gz .arc .gif
.tpz .taz .tzg
.deb .rpm" > $TERMDIR/afio-backup.exps
... should have been...
echo ".z .gz .Z .tgz .gif .arc .zip .zoo .lha .jpeg .jpg .hpk .bz2 .Z .z .gz .arc .gif
.tpz .taz .tzg
.deb .rpm" > $TEMPDIR/afio-backup.exps

The 2 lines -

... should have been...
cat $TEMPDIR/afio-backup.2;
