Hi everyone.

I'm still having problems getting the Ditto Max Pro working. I'm on Redhat 5.2
and have downloaded and configured ftape and ftape tools then compiled them.
(i'm using the EZ controller and the card has been recognised ok by the
isapnp)

Here's some diagnostics:

[root@stuart david]# mt -f /dev/qft0 status
qic-117 drive type = 0x08885, File number=-1, block number=-1.
mt_resid: 10240, mt_erreg: 0x321f
mt_dsreg: 0xe30665, mt_gstat: 0x41000000
General status bits on (41000000):
 BOT ONLINE
[root@stuart david]#

[root@stuart david]# tar cfv /dev/qft0 test

Gives a lot of thrashing on the tape drive and the following error messages
to /var/log/messages :

...etc

This is driving me nuts. Could someone mail me their MCONFIG and modules/insert
files if they have a working configuration for this and mention what their
IRQ, DMA and io base is. Or if i'm just doing something incredibly stupid then
pointing it out would be appreciated.

Thanks

David
