Am I the only one having trouble with ftape-doc-1999_03_17?
The ./configure script reports:-
sed: can't read ./etc/Makefile.in: No such file or directory
Make then reports:-
make[2]: Entering directory `/usr/local/src/ftape-doc-1999_03_17/ftape-manual/etc'
make[2]: *** No rule to make target `all'. Stop.
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/src/ftape-doc-1999_03_17/ftape-manual/etc'
m
There is no Makefile.in in the ftape-manual/etc directory. There is a
Makefile.am, but if I try automake Makefile, I get a complaint
automake: couldn't open `configure.in': No such file or directory
It is probably pretty obvious that I am not familiar with automake.
Should I keep reading man pages until I understand enough to track this
down? Have I got a broken system? Kernel 2.2.6-ac1 if it matters.
TIA
Adrian
