Thank you very much for your help. The compilation went without any
error and the tape drive is working. I am actually testing a first real
backup with tar. I get sometimes the message "This is a Ditto EZ FDC".
But everything seems to work perfectly ;-)
Alex, I only compiled ftape and loaded the modules in the kernel. But I
have the internal version of the Ditto Max.
