Has anyone ever gotten a parallel port Ditto 2G tape drive to work? I can't get my drive to do anything, regardless of anything I try. I'm running Linux 2.2.9, I've tried w/ the kernel's built in ftape and w/ a stand-alone ftape version ftape-4.03-pre-3 (that's what it says, even though the ftape webpage doesn't mention that version, ftape-4.03-pre-2 doesn't compile), my parallel port is set to EPP in the BIOS, Linux finds the parallel port but I haven't tested it with a printer or anything else.
