I got som problem with ftape. I user HP colorado T3000 on a RH60
with
kernel 2.28. I have downloadet the unstable version
'ftape-4.x-199_04_25' and the 'ftape-tools-1999_03_17'. Whenn I
try to
format the tape (TR-3) i get this error:
root:/ $ ftformat --mode=probe --format-parameters qic-standard=TR-3
Reading old header segment ... Ioctl error reading header segment:
Input/output error
Can you tell me why??
