Yes, I have learned that Iomega has dissolved from their Ditto
division. Although Iomega are still responsible for the drives that
were sold before they gave the Ditto division to Tecmar. But still
many Linux users are using other Iomega products and as such are entitled
to know Iomega position with regards to the hardware warranty issues
if the hardware is used on a Linux system --- or a non Microsoft system.
But to be fair with Tecmar, I will contact them. Thus I will be
able to have a fair position with Tecmar if they are open to Linux,
since the blame for the warranty issue here only involves Iomega.
