Hi Bruce,

The Exabyte 8200 is a SCSI tape drive.  The ftape drivers are only for
floppy, or parallel port-based floppy, drives.

To use the Exabyte 8200, you will use the /dev/st0 and /dev/nst0
devices.  An example tar command would be:

tar -cvf /dev/st0 /home

This will backup everything in /home to the tape drive.  For more
specific info on tar, take a look at the tar man page.
