The current->timeout variable does not exist, when I attempt to compile ftape-4.02. (I can't even find where "current" is declared, and I've grep-ed through /usr/src/linux.) This is against kernel 2.2.7 according to "uname." The error occurs whle compiling lowlevel/fdc-io.c (lines 433 and 454.) (The default ftape in SuSE 6.1 appears to be broken; I don't know why. It appears to be ftape-3.04d.) Thanks for any advice.
