I've seen the same problem. There are a bunch of open "PR"s on this.
I've contacted the owner but haven't gotten any response. The problem
is in /usr/src/linux/include/linux/sched.h. The task_struct structure seems
to be quite different than the one ftape seems to be expecting. I would think
that ftape would have to be modified to use the new version of task_struct?
Anyone have any ideas on this?

However, I've seen emails from people who have compiled successfully
on 2.2, so I don't know how they're doing it.
