I have Caldera OpenLinux 2.2 which came with ftape 3.04. This is my first
experience with Linux.
I downloaded 4.02, untarred it; everything seemed to be going well. I spent
about 2 weeks in the evenings reading FAQ's and HOW-TO's. I thought I was
ready to go, so I ran make config on the kernel (disabling ftape, zftape and
compressor), used it for several days to make sure nothing was broken--worked
very well.
When I tried to make ftape, NO GO! I get errors right at the end about
fdc-io.c after the command 'gcc-Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -02.....' which ends
with '-c fdc-io.c'.
ERRORS:
fdc-io.c: In function 'fdc_interrupt_wait' :
fdc-io.c:433: structure has no member named 'timeout'
fdc-io.c:454: structure has no member named 'timeout'

I have no idea what is happening. Could someone lend a hand?
