The Ditto line from Iomega is a last resort tape solution.  If you have
one, you MAY be able to get it to work.  If you don't have one - DON'T
buy one.

You can get the Seagate TR-4 (2.5x the capacity of the Ditto Max) for
around US$200.  It plugs into your IDE chain (or SCSI, if you buy the
SCSI version) and provides true 600KB/sec or 1.2MB/sec (with
compression).
