Hi,
I am having some problems getting my tape drive to
work.
Linux Redhat 6.0
ftape ftape-4.x-1999_06_30
Tape HP colorado 14GB parallel port
System Tyan mother board Dual PPro 200Mhz.
The problem is that when I install the ftape modules
I see an error message from dmesg that says

[009] 0 trakker.c (trakker_checksum) - checksum error (off by 14).
[010] 0 fdc-parport.h (ft_parport_probe) - can't find parport interface
for ftape id 0.
[011] 0 trakker.c (trakker_detect) - can't find trakker interface for
ftape id 0
[012] 0 trakker.c (trakker_detect) - ft_parport_probe(fdc,
&trakker->parinfo) failed: -6.
