I recently purchased a refurbished Iomega Ditto 3200 internal( says
"Iomega Ditto Easy 3200" on front) and wish to use it for backups using
ftape. The unit has no noticible jumpers on it to set the irq & io, so
I contacted Iomega to find what the defaults are. They replied:
> I regret it to inform you that Iomega products are not supported in Unix/Linix
>Operating systems.

My questions are:
1) Has this drive successfully been used on the internal FDC?
2) I don't know much about tape drives, but some of the language in the
supported drives section of the howto make me think that the io, irq,
and dma settings are on the drive. Is this true? If I want to use the
on board FDC how would I determine what they are?
Thanks for you patience with my basic questions,
