I have an Eagle TR-3. It was working fine with TR-3 Extra tapes for the two
years I had it. When I upgraded to RedHat 6.0 (from 5.1), the tapes became
unreadable. They are unformattable now, even under Windows. I have since
gotten regular TR-3 tapes and they are working fine.
All I can figure is that using the ftape modules that were compiled under the
2.0.35 kernel mangled the tapes.
