Hello:
I just tried to use ftape on a system with the new 2.2.x kernel but now
my Ditto Max doesn't work. I've tried to run it directly off of the FDC
and with the EZ FDC that ships with this tape drive. I noticed that the
ftape-internal module is not included in this kernel, but you now need
to COMPILE it into the kernel. Is this the problem here?
NOTE: My previous installation was on kernel 2.0.35 with ftape 4.02
where the following modules are needed: ftape, zftape, ftape-internal
(for my Iomega Dash EZ adapter)
I also had to run up isapnp before installing any ftape modules. This
works fine.
