Aiwa Bolt drive (TD-AS10)

I've recently bought an Aiwa Bolt tape drive (TD-AS10) with 5/10 GB 
tapes but cannot get it to work under Linux. If anyone could help me, 
I'd be enormously grateful.

I posted the message above on Sunday but, due to email problems, did 
not get any messages until now. If anyone has posted an answer to 
this question, would you be so kind as to forward it to me again?
