Erik -

Both of these drives work fine under Linux.  They will both be seen
using the ht devices and the IDE-TAPE driver from Gadi.  If you see any
timing glitches (it's VERY dependent on your PC), then I recommend that
you try the IDE-SCSI emulation drivers (in Block Devices of the kernel
config).  You would then access either as an st device, instead of an ht
device.
