Interesting observation:
I rebuilt with -DCONFIG_FT_FULL_DEBUG defined. I don't see where that
gets
used or passed in as compile time options and the when all was said and
done
I didn't get any information than before.
I played with the parallel port setting in the BIOS. It was set to
NORMAL.
I changed this to ECC+ECP. Now I get a message saying it detected IRQ7
for
the parallel port but it still says that the device is not configured.
Should I install this under windows, note the system resources assigned
(irq
etc.) and then provide these as options in the /etc/conf.modules ? My
windows box is different machine so is information even relevant?
Still looking for some kind of respons from this mailing list.
thanks,
Mike
