I've just successfully installed Linux operating systems 6.0 on Dual Pentium
Pro PC system. I have a HP scsi tape drive connected to the system but
do not know how to make it work. I am a new in this area and please help
with the following questions:
1. What steps should I do to make Linux recognize the HP scsi tape drive?
2. What is a default device file for tape drive, /dev/rmt0 or /dev/ftape?
3. What backup commands available on Linux for backing up entire file system
and what is a procedure to rebuild a boot partition and restore it on a
new disk ?
