I don't know what is the most important : new kernel, ie new ftape or new
documentation, but chance is my ditto now functions. Problem was to load
not only ftape but also zftape and I found the clue in the FAQ.
I'm not 100% sure because using kdat (kde tape archiver) the backup
stopped near the end and stoud still, so half an hour after I clicked
"abort". Now I try to reindex the tape to see what happend.
anyway I have acces to the ditto tape and this is great !
