I have an internal colorado jumbo 250 drive.. It uses the FC-10
interface card. I'm trying to install it with Mandrake 6.0 kernel 2.2.6.
Here is my /etc/conf.modules file
alias char-major-27 zftape
options ftape ft_fdc_driver=ftape-internal,fc10,none,none
options ftape_internal ft_fdc_base=0x300 ft_fdc_irq=9 ft_fdc_dma=1
However, I always get the "Device not configured" error message. I am not
100% positive on the irq and io address, unfortunatly there is no way to
figure that information out as far as I can tell.
The tape drive is plugged into an FC-10 interface card, which is isa but
not pnp, so I'll assume that I don't need to use isapnptools. pnpdump
can't find any devices attached to system.
I've actually gone through every possibility of irq,io,and dma, and none
of them work.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Has anyone ever gotten a colorado jumbo
250 (with FC-10 interface card) to work for Linux?
Thanks in advance..
