Hello, I've just recently installed the Sept 11th version (unstable) of ftape. (On the advice of someone who said an earlier version would not work on kernel 2.2.x) Problem is, I can test the drive, and it is recognized by the system, but when I try to write to it, it comes back with a "Read-only Media" error. (Yes, I checked the tab on the tape itself...even 'locked' it to make sure it wasn't made backwards) I have an Iomega Ditto 2GB drive.
