Ftape wins the Award for being the best demontration of the
difficultness of using Linux.

I have used my Iomega External Max Pro drive on Windows without any
problems and now I have spent the whole day trying to install it on Linux.
I have read all the documentation I could come across and emails to no
avail. There is tids of information there and something there but really
not good enough to get anything working. I am glad I am doing this for
fun, had I been working for someone I would have hated it.

Elsewhere I was told how to use /etc/conf.modules to assign an IRQ to the
parallel port. It does not seem to work on my system. My question is how
do I put it in the command line. I would like to do the following
        insmod bpck-fdc ft_fdc_irq=5

Since
        insmod bpck-fdc
responds with
/lib/modules/2.2.13/misc/bpck-fdc.o: init_module: Device or resource busy

I was hoping that I could give it an IRQ and perhaps it would work. Any
help?
