Hey gang
A question for my fellow SCSI users. I've got a DLT4000 that is behaving
oddly, wanted to see
if anyone else has had this happen,and if there is a fix for it. First off, I plugged
in the DLT to linux
and it id's as SCSI 0 even though its set to 5. Next, Whenver I put a DLT III or IV, I
tried both.
it says the tape is write protected. Furthermore mt rewinds without issue but FSF or
trying to tar to
the tape produces an I/O error. Any ideas would be appreicated.
