I have finally gotten ftape in working order with my ditto max (parallel
port) drive, but have run into another bizarro problem. The drive has
destroyed two tapes. I do not know how long the first tape has been
broken, but the second tape broke when I plugged the printer into the
back of the drive. I attributed this to a hardware problem and iomega
graciously agreed to replace the drive and tapes despite the fact the OS
(Linux) is strictly not supported. I was wondering if anyone else has
experienced a similar problem.
