Oh lord, now I believe I've totally messed things up...

Somehow the synopsis of the "ln"-command on my machine seems to be the
other way round. Anyway I managed to create a symbolic link named
/dev/nftape which points to /dev/nqft0 overwriting the old device file
(now I know what the -f means...LOL), which is, I guess, the opposite of
what my previous poster wanted me to do. Same with /dev/ftape.
So by now I have *no* device file for the floppy tape, and of cause no
backup of /dev/, for I have no backup media :-].

Is there any possibility to fix this (for example create a new device
file)?
Sorry if  bore you with this stuff but I simply liked to run a backup
before y2k!
