Subject: ftape 4.03 pre-4 and Iomega Ditto Max Pro crashes system
Hi,
I\'m still having trouble getting my Iomega Ditto Max Pro to work. SuSe 6.1,
Kernel 2.2.7 on a 486 DX4/100, 32 MB RAM. The controller card seems to be
detected OK, as well as the tape drive. But when I access the drive, the whole
system crashes!
Here are the last messages from /var/log/messages. I\'m sorry it\'s so long, but
I\'m not sure what to leave out.
This is what happens when I insert the modules and try to write something to
the tape device with tar:
