Hi, Paul!

Trying to kill the keyboard, Paul Smith
([EMAIL PROTECTED]) produced 0,2K in 7 lines:

>this source

There is nothing we can do short of *faking your address* and
*faking a mail from you* to tell majordomo to remove you.

However, you can send a mail to
    [EMAIL PROTECTED]
with the body of
    unsubscribe linux-tape
. The subject is ignored. That should get you off the list
well and clean.

It may be that someone forwards/bounces you the mails, then
that will fail, but the *complete* header will show the
Initiated (like your Sysadmin) who is at fault.

On a tangent, you could filter these mails into their own
mailfolder, using procmail.

PS: This goes to the list so it shows up in the archive
and reminds people. And to be able to correct me where
    neccessary.
