I am trying to compile ftape 4.02 on a Mandrake 6.1(2.2.13 kernel),
AMDk62-500 and get the following error when trying to 'make':

Am i missing a lib file or something? A side-note, in the MCONFIG file I
had to choose 586 because when I tried make w/ the amdk6 selection, it
failed and gave the following error plus the error above:
cc1: Invalid option 'amdk6'
cc1: Invalid option 'amdk6'
cc1: bad value (amdk6) for -mcpu= switch
This error does not happen if I set the option to 586.
